Good news bad news and good news again

So the good news!

I have the audio tape loops prepared for Monday and I think it’s going to add a lot to the showing.

And the bad news…

The vhs player I had modified the tension arms on to play the tape loops had died and I don’t think there will be time to make another one befor Monday but not all is lost.

And finally the good news returns again.

I have decided to re record the output to vhs periodically in order to create the signal destruction rather than using the loop, the proses will be similar to when you photo copy something over and over again and begin to lose detail and create artifacts.

Although using this method will loose the visual spectical of the tape loops it will still retain the same effect and as a positive it will give me documented points throughout the signal destruction that I can look back at and analyse.
