day 1

First day of showing and experimentation with the full set up I have been planning and designing for the last few months.

it was good to see the effects in a large dark space and i think this really added to the experience and it defiantly creates a different feeling from my bedroom desk. 

i was able to do most of what i wanted to achieve today but there is definitely more i can do tomorrow, for instance i did not incorporate the vision mixer/fx unit to add another opportunity for interactivity alongside the camera feedback loop

another thing i would like to do is get a continuous recording of an hour or more to show the gradual destruction of the source signal over time caused by the re recording of the vhs tape

i feel that today had been very successful and i am pleased that i have been able to realise what stated out as a vague idea based around signal destruction and playing with analogue gear.
